CROWN PAINTS is taking an informed approach for specifiers to Ecobuild 2015 which is being held at London’s ExCeL.

At the event the UK paint manufacturer is launching its first-ever sustainability CPD ‘Different Shades of Green – Delivering Paint Sustainability.’

The seminar will be delivered by Crown Paints’ CPD accredited presenter, David Spicer.

The presentation pays particular focus on paint and coatings and will look at issues including BREEAM, issues with standardisation, products helping to extend maintenance cycles, carbon foot printing, the integrated approach to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

The CPDs will be held in South Gallery room 14, located in the South Halls, on Wednesday, March 4th – with 3 free to attend seminars throughout the day at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

Usman Akhtar, Crown Paints’ Specification Sector Support Manager, said: “Over the years at Ecobuild, we’ve had people coming to our stand wanting a wide-range of information.

“So this year we’ve opted to launch our new CPD-accredited presentation at the event.

The company will also have Specification sales managers on hand at the Crown Paints Stand S6002 as per previous years to provide relevant solutions and advice to the attendees at the event.

Anyone can register to attend the CPD by contacting Crown Paints Specification Services on 0845 034 1464, email info@crownpaintspec.co.uk or simply turning up on the day.

This latest CPD from Crown Paints joins a series of accredited programmes available from the paint manufacturer, including ‘Burning issues – the hazard of painted walls and ceilings,’ ‘The role of colour in buildings,’ ‘Colour in education’ and ‘Effective paint specification.’
